Established in 1994, CEEC is composed of eighteen national, membership-based organizations representing Americans of 
Armenian, Belarusan, Bulgarian, Czech, Estonian, Georgian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, and Ukrainian descent.

July 26, 2011 - CEEC Policy Forum

The Central and East European Coalition sponsored a July 26 policy forum on Capitol Hill entitled, "20 Years: Three Perspectives on the Evolution of U.S. Strategic Engagement with Central and Eastern Europe." Panelists included Michael Haltzel of the Center for Transatlantic Relations, Janusz Bugajski of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Petr Gandalovic, Ambassador of Georgia Temuri Yakobashvili, and Ambassador of Hungary Dr. György Szapáry.
